Noida: A well-designed Faculty Development Program was successfully conducted at the AAFT in Noida, aiming to enhance the teaching standards and incorporate advancements in technology and evolving student behavior patterns. This program was meticulously planned for the faculty members from various disciplines within AAFT.

The program featured distinguished speakers, including Kenneth G. Wheeler from ICF PCC and Pathway Founder of Selah Consulting Solutions, Aditya Sisodia ICF PCC from Founder S Vision Consultants, and Suchitra Rajendra, ICF PCC CEO and Founder of QEDHR. Noida: The students of the AAFT School of Performing Arts (Music) recently participated in an engaging workshop titled “Musicians in Front of Camera,” conducted by Madhav Singla at Marwah Film City. The workshop aimed to educate students on how to present themselves in various visual media formats, including film, TV programs, stage shows, documentaries, and advertising films.

“The more you practice, the better you become. Music enhances your thinking, culture, values, and art. Every new input brings new zest into the life of a learner,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and practice.

Madhav Singla, reflecting on the workshop, shared, “I believe that our greatest achievements come from making a positive impact in someone’s life—a sentiment I inherited from my mom. Today, I’m thrilled to share a recent experience that allowed me to do just that, not for one individual, but for a group of eager students embarking on their professional journeys.” In recognition of his contributions and as a gesture of love and respect, Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored Madhav Singla with a life membership of the International Film and Television Club of AAFT.

Noida: The students of cinema at Marwah Film City recently had the privilege of participating in a specialized workshop on the Arri Camera, led by the esteemed Director of Photography, Medhadeep Bandyopadhyay. This event, held at AAFT, aimed to enhance students’ skills in camera operations and creative filmmaking.

Medhadeep Bandyopadhyay, known for his extensive work in music videos, corporate films, advertising films, short films, and wedding photography, shared his mastery of camera operations and the creative optimum use of cameras. His diverse experience and experimental photography techniques provided students with fresh perspectives and innovative methods in handling cameras and creating short films.

“The workshop introduced numerous new ways of handling cameras and the best practices for creating shorts, drawing from Medhadeep’s rich experience and experimental approaches in photography,” noted Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT.

As a gesture of goodwill and respect, Dr. Sandeep Marwah honored Medhadeep Bandyopadhyay with a life membership of the International Film and Television Club of AAFT. Noida: The AAFT School of Cinema recently hosted an intensive workshop on film photography, underscoring the adventurous and ever-expanding nature of this art form. The workshop emphasized the importance of understanding the complete aesthetics of filmmaking and the creative use of cameras, beyond mere operational knowledge.

“Film photography is an adventure, a journey into the unknown. The more you know, the more you want to learn. At AAFT, we aim to go beyond camera operations; we want students to grasp the entire aesthetic of filmmaking and employ the most creative use of the camera. Our students have excelled in news, current affairs, television, and cinema fictional programs. I frequently receive messages from the industry praising their sincere efforts and caliber in enhancing the quality of any visual media program,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT.

The workshop featured sessions on the Red Camera, conducted by industry experts Mukesh Shukla, Ketakee Arun Desai, and Raj Peddiniti from Mumbai. The sessions invigorated students, filling them with enthusiasm and a renewed energy. Noida:— Deepa Chandra, a distinguished media personality and former Additional Director General of Doordarshan, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has been honored with a life membership of the International Women’s Film Forum (IWFF) at Marwah Studios during her visit to Noida Film City.

Expressing her admiration for the facilities and initiatives at Marwah Studios and AAFT University, Deepa Chandra remarked, “I am thrilled to see the quality, infrastructure, and various activities here at Noida Film City. Dr. Sandeep Marwah has single-handedly created a revolution in the entertainment industry, with Noida Film City at its epicentre. I must congratulate him for his success.”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the founder of Marwah Studios, presented the life membership to Deepa Chandra, acknowledging her contributions to the media industry. “We are pleased to invite Deepa Chandra, one of the most capable officers from Doordarshan, to be part of the International Women’s Film Forum. I am sure her advice will take this organization to new heights,” said Dr. Marwah.

Noida: In a landmark move, the AAFT School of PR, Events, and Advertising has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EMMA), the premier body in the nation for events. This collaboration aims to provide significant placement support to students in their final semester. “This is the biggest break the students of AAFT School of PR, Events, and Advertising can get,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the School, following the signing of the MOU with EMMA.

The MOU was signed at Marwah Studios with Dr. Sandeep Marwah and Vipul Pandhi, Vice President North of EMMA, exchanging notes. Other notable attendees included Ruchin Kohli, Joint Secretary, and Tushar Malik, Zonal Manager from EMMA, along with Albeena Abbas from AAFT.

Vipul Pandhi, addressing the press, highlighted the growing market of the events industry and the need for educated and trained personnel. “AAFT students are well-groomed and have a wonderful scope to do well in the industry,” he remarked.

Noida: Celebrated actor Manoj Bajpayee, renowned for his versatile performances, visited Marwah Studios for the promotion of his upcoming film “Bhaiyya Ji” at Noida Film City. Reflecting on his longstanding relationship with Marwah Studios, Bajpayee reminisced, “I have thirty years of relations with Marwah Studios. My film Bandit Queen Phoolan Devi was shot here way back in 1993. I have returned several times for the promotion of my other films as well. This is the oldest studio in North India.”

The event generated immense excitement among the students, with hundreds of AAFTians capturing the vibrant atmosphere on their mobile cameras. “Bhaiyya Ji” is a compelling narrative about a man who stands up for his family and seeks revenge for the injustices done to his loved ones.

During the event, Bajpayee engaged with the students of AAFT, answering a multitude of questions not only about his latest film but also about his career, film journey, and various characters he has portrayed over the years. His insights were invaluable for the aspiring filmmakers and actors present.

Noida:  In a momentous event, Dr. Sandeep Marwah was nominated as the Chair for the Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum. His Excellency Gabriel P. Sinimbo, High Commissioner of Namibia to India, presented the certificate to Dr. Marwah during his visit to the international headquarters of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) at Noida Film City.

His Excellency expressed his confidence in Dr. Marwah’s leadership, stating, “It is a proud moment for all of us to nominate Dr. Sandeep Marwah as the Chair for the Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum. I am sure that this forum under the ICMEI will grow rapidly and yield significant results in a short period.”

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, an eminent figure in the media and entertainment industry, responded with gratitude and commitment. “I am thankful to His Excellency for this gesture. I will leave no stone unturned to make this newly formed association a vibrant and successful organization. We are handing over the scholarship today to a deserving student from Namibia, taking our relations to the next level,” said Dr. Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair for the Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum.

Dr. Marwah is a distinguished individual with a remarkable career. He is the founder of Noida Film City, Marwah Studios, and the Asian Academy of Film and Television. He also serves as the founding Chancellor of AAFT University and the founding President of ICMEI. Dr. Marwah holds nine world records and is highly decorated in the Republic of India. He is a board member of various ministries, including the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Skill Development, and Ministry of Sports and Youth.

This appointment marks a significant milestone in the cultural and educational collaboration between India and Namibia, promising to foster deeper ties and mutual growth.

Noida: In a significant step towards fostering international cultural and educational ties, the Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum, in collaboration with the High Commission of Namibia, presented a scholarship to a deserving student from Namibia. The scholarship, offered by AAFT University, covers a short-term course of the student’s choice, including boarding and lodging for three months in India.

“We are proud to be associated with the High Commission of Namibia and to establish this powerful organization of Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum under the patronage of His Excellency Gabriel P. Sinimbo, High Commissioner of Namibia to India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI. This initiative is part of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry’s ongoing international programs. It aims to enhance cultural exchange and provide educational opportunities to talented individuals from Namibia.

His Excellency Gabriel P. Sinimbo expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am more than happy to receive the scholarship from Dr. Sandeep Marwah, now Chair for Indo Gambia Film and Cultural Forum. Soon you will find students from Namibia learning cinema here.
