Sandeep Marwah Meets British High Commissioner to India
New Delhi: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of Marwah Studios, recently met the newly appointed British High Commissioner to India, H.E. Lindy Cameron CB OBE, at her residence. During their interaction, Dr. Marwah discussed his role as the Ambassador of Wales in India, a position conferred upon him in 2007 by the Deputy First Minister of Wales, H.E. Ian Wayen Jones, during an official visit to India. Dr. Marwah also highlighted his visit as a state guest to Cardiff, an honor bestowed by the Government of Wales.
A recipient of the prestigious title ‘Champion of Wales,’ Dr. Marwah has been instrumental in fostering cultural and creative ties between India and Wales. His efforts have further been recognized with his nomination as Chairperson of the Indo-Wales Creative Forum, underlining his commitment to enhancing bilateral relations.
The meeting served as a platform to reaffirm the importance of strengthening cultural and professional collaborations between the United Kingdom and India.
