Noida: A group of enthusiastic students from Indrapuram Public School recently visited Marwah Studios as part of an insightful study tour at Noida Film City. The visit aimed to provide the young students with a glimpse into the dynamic world of media and entertainment.
During their visit, the students were exposed to various facilities at Marwah Studios, including the radio station, television station, and film screening areas. The tour also featured discussions with counselors, who introduced them to the diverse range of courses available at the Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT), helping the students gain a deeper understanding of the media industry.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of the International Children’s Film Forum (ICFF), welcomed the students, stating: “We have been inviting young students from across India and abroad to Marwah Studios, offering them insights into the ever-growing media and entertainment industry. With a growth rate of 12 percent per annum, the M&E industry has now become the sixth largest industry in India. The celebration was held at Marwah Studios in Noida, with students, faculty, and distinguished guests participating in the event.
To mark the occasion, a special poster honoring the life and sacrifices of Bhagat Singh was unveiled. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chancellor of AAFT University, led the celebrations with a heartfelt tribute to the revolutionary leader.
Dr. Marwah spoke about the indomitable spirit of Bhagat Singh and his profound impact on India’s fight for independence. “Bhagat Singh’s courage, conviction, and dedication to the cause of freedom continue to inspire generations. The visit was organized at the invitation of Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Chair of the Indo-Nepal Film and Cultural Forum.
The delegation interacted with members of ICMEI and students from the AAFT School of Journalism. Dublin, Ireland: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and founder of Noida Film City, was a special invitee at the musical extravaganza titled ‘Live Love Laugh Shaan Se,’ performed by renowned Indian singer Shaan and his team at the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD). The show was part of the celebrations marking the 15th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Ireland (IFFI).
Dr. Marwah, who was invited to inaugurate the 15th edition of IFFI by the festival’s director, Dr. Siraj Zaidi, expressed his delight in attending the event. “Music is life, and being able to listen to Indian film music and folk music outside the country is a real pleasure and bonus,” said Dr. Marwah.

Noida, India – October 2024: The 10th Global Literary Festival Noida 2024 witnessed a moving and impactful performance by the students of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) through a thought-provoking Nukkad Natak (street play). Held on the sidelines of the festival, the play shed light on some of the most pressing social issues plaguing modern society, leaving a deep and lasting impression on the audience.
The Nukkad Natak addressed multiple layers of societal challenges, including mental illness, society’s pressure on individuals, sexual harassment, the overburden of education, unrealistic expectations from family members, and the emotional struggles in love and marital relationships. Each theme was sensitively portrayed, capturing the audience’s attention and emotions.
The student actors, with their raw and energetic performances, created a powerful atmosphere in the open-air setting, ensuring that the messages conveyed resonated deeply with the spectators. Their portrayal of the struggles of mental health, familial expectations, and personal relationships touched the core of each individual present, bringing much-needed awareness to these overlooked issues.

Noida, India – October 2024: The grand finale of the 10th Global Literary Festival took place in style at Marwah Studios, as a unique fashion show celebrating literature and culture captivated the audience on the final day. The event was organized by the talented students of the AAFT School of Fashion and Design, who designed and executed a show that not only highlighted their creativity but also beautifully linked fashion with literary themes.
This one-of-a-kind fashion show featured seven diverse rounds of garments, showcasing the artistic abilities of AAFT students. The collections ranged from modern, experimental designs to traditional attire, each inspired by literature, history, and art. The final round, which drew special attention, focused on sarees from various states of India, emphasizing the cultural and sartorial diversity of the country. Each saree told a story, paying homage to the rich heritage of different Indian regions.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Ali Achoui, the Ambassador of Algeria to India, and Dr. Pankaj K. P. Shreyaskar, Deputy Director General of PIMD at the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India.
