The event was organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) in association with the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT).

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and President of ICMEI, led the celebrations with a stirring address. “We are fortunate to enjoy the freedoms and comforts of life, but let us not forget the brave men and women of our armed forces who guard our borders with unwavering dedication and without a single complaint. Dr. Sandeep Marwah Honored with Bharat Ratan Dr. Abdul Kalam Global Award 2024 for World Peace

New Delhi, August 2, 2024 – Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University and founder of Noida Film City, has been honored with the prestigious Bharat Ratan Dr. Abdul Kalam Global Award 2024. The award recognizes his extraordinary contributions to bringing love, peace, and unity through art and culture on a global scale.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Marwah quoted, “If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun. Stay away from those people who try to disparage your ambitions. His illustrious career includes: Participation in 7,500 events and production of 3,500 short films, Welcoming three million people from 156 countries under cultural tourism, Educating 30,000 students from 145 countries, Chairing cultural forums in 75 countries worldwide.

One of his notable achievements includes uniting India through the Commonwealth Queen’s Baton Relay, covering 28 states and 5 union territories. This initiative included 300 events, visits to 900 cities, and traveling 20,000 kilometers to produce 1,000 hours of filmmaking, 10,000 photographs, 102 radio programs, and 102 short films in 102 days.

The award ceremony took place at the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat in Delhi, attended by prominent figures from Delhi NCR. Shaminm A. Khan, a renowned social worker and president of the society, remarked, “Sandeep Marwah is the living legend of our country. I have never seen anyone who has done so much work in art and culture in the world.”

New Delhi, July 26, 2024 – The Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC), one of India’s leading public policy think tanks based in New Delhi, marked the 25th anniversary (Rajat Jayanti) of Kargil Vijay Diwas with a solemn and commemorative event. Kuala Lumpur: The Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) is pleased to announce that Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), has been invited to attend the prestigious 19th Asia Media Summit 2024. The event, themed “Media: The New Odyssey,” will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from September 1st to 5th, 2024.

The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organized by AIBD as its flagship event. Each year, the summit is guided by a theme developed in consultation with members, partners, and global media experts. This unique broadcasting event in the Asia-Pacific region attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision-makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region.

The 19th Asia Media Summit 2024 will focus on the profound transformations in the broadcasting industry driven by technological advancements and societal shifts. Under the theme “The New Odyssey,” the summit will explore media’s quest for innovation and resilience in the face of adversity. Mohammed Rafi Remembered at Marwah Studios on His 44th Death Anniversary

Noida: “Music can change the world because it can change people. Music is the shorthand of emotion. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life,” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, as he inaugurated a musical program organized by the AAFT School of Music. The event commemorated the 44th death anniversary of the legendary Indian singer Mohammed Rafi.

The evening was marked by a wonderful musical extravaganza presented by the talented students of AAFT. Their performances captured the essence of Mohammed Rafi’s timeless music, bringing his iconic songs to life and enchanting the audience.

One of the highlights of the evening was the participation of Dr Er. Rajainderr Jaina, a well-known businessman, social worker, writer, and art promoter. Jaina spoke eloquently about Mohammed Rafi’s monumental contributions to the music industry, highlighting his creation of over 7000 songs in numerous languages. During her visit, Sandeep Marwah, founder of Marwah Studios, highlighted the active presence and efforts of the Indo Polish Film and Cultural Forum and the Indo Spanish Film and Cultural Forum.
