Noida: The Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum is honored to announce that His Excellency Gabriel P. Sinimbo, High Commissioner of Namibia to India, has graciously accepted the role of Patron for the newly established forum. This appointment was spearheaded by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI).

Under the patronage of H.E. Sinimbo, the forum is set to enhance the cultural and artistic relations between the peoples of India and Namibia. “The Indo Namibia Film and Cultural Forum is a pivotal establishment that will drive the promotion and development of our bilateral relations through the vibrant mediums of art and culture,” stated Dr. Marwah.

H.E. Sinimbo, who also serves as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is concurrently accredited to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, with a diplomatic seat in New Delhi. His extensive experience and esteemed position will undoubtedly propel the Indo-Namibia relations to new heights.

“I am deeply grateful to the ICMEI for initiating this forum in collaboration with the High Commission. It is my commitment to guide and support the forum to the best of my abilities,” said H.E. Sinimbo.

The event, held in Noida, was graced by the presence of His Excellency Gabriel P. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair for the Indo South Korea Film and Cultural Forum, spearheaded the initiative. Dr. Marwah, who has visited South Korea twice, visiting cities such as Busan and Seoul, emphasized the deep connections and shared values that form the foundation of this partnership. He also highlighted his engagement with the International Youth Fellowship and the Universal Peace Federation in Seoul, which aligns with the MOU’s objectives to foster global peace and understanding through cultural exchange.

Before the auditions commenced, Marwah Studios organized a formal program  in association with 92.7 Big FM where Anu Kapoor, the presenter of Antakshari, and Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the Founder of Marwah Studios, discussed the audition process and what they expected from the participants. Kapoor took the opportunity to delve into the history of Antakshari and his longstanding association with Marwah Studios and Dr. Marwah since 1993.
