New Delhi: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), alongside India’s vibrant art and culture community, extends heartfelt congratulations to the people of Cameroon on their National Day, celebrated on May 20th.

In honor of this significant occasion, the Indo-Cameroon Film and Cultural Forum (ICFCF) at ICMEI commemorated the enduring relationship between India and Cameroon. The celebration took place at the Global Headquarters in Marwah Film City, Noida. The ICFCF, established to foster cultural and artistic exchange, underscores the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, conveyed his congratulations, saying, “On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the entire art and culture community of India, I extend our warmest congratulations to the people of Cameroon on their National Day. The Indo-Norway Film and Cultural Forum (INFCF) at ICMEI commemorated this significant day by celebrating the strong and enduring relations between India and Norway at the Global Headquarters in Marwah Film City, Noida. The INFCF was established to foster and promote cultural and artistic exchange between the two nations, reflecting the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation that exists between India and Norway.

In his message, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, said, “On behalf of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry and the entire art and culture community of India, I extend our warmest congratulations to the Embassy of Norway and the people of Norway on their Constitution Day. New Delhi: Renowned educationist and media person, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, was presented with a memento as a gesture of goodwill for his untiring contribution to MSMECCII over the last five years as Global Advisor. The honor was bestowed upon him by Dr. Indrajit Ghosh, Global Chairman of the organization, during the fifth anniversary celebration of MSMECCII at Constitution Club, New Delhi.

The event was marked by the presence of several dignitaries, industry leaders, and members of the MSME sector, highlighting the significant impact of MSMECCII in fostering growth and development within the industry. Dr. Indrajit Ghosh commended Dr. Sandeep Marwah for his significant role in the development and promotion of the Chamber since its inception. He highlighted that Dr. Marwah’s services to the nation, particularly in the MSME Education Industry and the Media and Entertainment Industry, are unparalleled.

Dr. Ghosh emphasized, “Dr. Sandeep Marwah has been a cornerstone in our mission to uplift and support MSMEs. His visionary leadership and dedication have not only advanced the Chamber’s goals but also contributed immensely to the broader economic landscape of our country.”

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed his gratitude and emphasized the vital role of MSMEs in the country. “MSMEs are the real doers of this country,” he stated, acknowledging their contributions to the nation’s growth and development. He further added, “The resilience and innovation demonstrated by MSMEs are truly inspiring. It is an honor to support and work alongside such dynamic entrepreneurs and businesses.”

Dr. Marwah also shared insights into the future plans of MSMECCII, which include expanding educational initiatives, providing more robust support systems for MSMEs, and fostering greater collaboration between industry and academia. “Our goal is to create a sustainable ecosystem where MSMEs can thrive and contribute significantly to India’s economic progress,” he said.

The fifth anniversary of MSMECCII not only celebrated the organization’s achievements but also underscored the importance of continuous support and development for MSMEs. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing the interests of the MSME sector, which remains a critical pillar of the Indian economy.

Noida: The British Business Group (BBG), in association with the Indo-UK Film and Cultural Forum (IUKFCF) and the Indo-Wales Creative Forum-IWCF, organized a dynamic networking event at Marwah Studios in Film City Noida. The event aimed to infuse new energy into the ongoing development and promotion of the India-UK relationship through business, art, and culture.

Tarun Singhal, treasurer of the British Business Group, highlighted the importance of these gatherings. “These get-togethers with dignitaries associated with the United Kingdom in any and every way enhance the level of business between India and the UK. We have been one of the most successful organizations associated with the British High Commission in New Delhi,” he stated.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, the host of the program and Ambassador of Wales to India, inaugurated the session by emphasizing his long-standing relationship with the United Kingdom, particularly Wales, spanning over two decades.

The event featured discussions on emerging trends in cyber and dark web laws, led by Amit Dubey, National Cyber Expert, and Shivaarti Bajaj, Renowned Lawyer. The session was inaugurated by H.E. Gabriel P. Sinimbo, High Commissioner of Namibia, and Prashanta Nanda, Member of Rajya Sabha.

Seema Kukreja coordinated the event, which was supported by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry. The session concluded with Dr. Sandeep Marwah presenting life membership of the International Film and Television Club of AAFT to the dignitaries on the dais, along with participation certificates to all attendees.

Noida: The AAFT School of Interior Design is proud to announce the appointment of the distinguished interior designer, Sunita Kohli, as the Dean of Industry. With this prestigious addition, the school enhances its reputation for providing exceptional education and training in the field of interior design. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, expressed his enthusiasm: “Sunita Kohli’s joining brings a new level of prestige and glamour to our institution.”

Sunita Kohli shared her excitement about this new role: “I am very happy and excited to be part of the AAFT School of Interior Design. It is a wonderful opportunity to share my deep experience in the field with young aspirants. I will ensure that they gain extensive knowledge from my experience.”

To welcome Sunita Kohli, a formal function was organized at the AAFT School of Interior Design. During the event, she was introduced to the entire administration, management, and students of AAFT.

Sunita Kohli is an acclaimed Indian interior designer, architectural restorer, and furniture manufacturer. She has restored and decorated several iconic buildings, including Rashtrapati Bhavan (the President’s House), the Parliament House Colonnade, the Prime Minister’s Office, and Hyderabad House in New Delhi. In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1992.

Sunita Kohli has also been a guest lecturer at various prestigious institutions, including Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Innovations, Emory University’s Carlos Museum and Halle Institute, Colorado College, and the National Building Museum in Washington DC. She has published and presented several papers and books, further solidifying her expertise and influence in the field of interior design.

Goa: The picturesque state of Goa is emerging as a significant platform for the creative industry, as highlighted by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a renowned figure in film, television, and media, during a recent visit to Goa addressing press at Hotel Taj Village.  Dr. Marwah emphasized Goa’s potential to become a hub for creative professionals, offering a conducive environment for innovation and artistic expression.

Dr. Marwah, who has been instrumental in bringing numerous international accolades to India and creating multiple world records, praised Goa’s unique blend of cultural heritage and modern infrastructure. In his address, Dr. Marwah encouraged the local government and stakeholders to invest in developing facilities and resources that can further enhance Goa’s appeal to the creative community. He also called for collaborative efforts to promote the state as a premier destination for creative projects, which would, in turn, boost tourism and the local economy.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a name synonymous with excellence, has brought over 200 international awards to India and created nine world records. His contributions have added immense value and prestige to the country’s reputation on the global stage. The award presentation was graced by some of the most prominent figures in the nation.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Marwah motivated the audience, emphasizing the importance of unity and love within the community to enhance business prosperity. Noida: The Asian Academy of Film & Television (AAFT) and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) have formed a strategic partnership with the New Delhi Film Foundation (NDFF). The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) marks a significant step towards promoting Indian cinema at Marwah Film City.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT and ICMEI, along with Ashish K Singh, Founder and General Secretary of NDFF, and Ajit Rai, were present at the signing ceremony. This collaboration aims to enhance the landscape of Indian cinema through various initiatives and projects that will be hosted  and planned together at Marwah Film City.

“Cinema is the magical art form that transcends boundaries, bringing stories to life and emotions to the surface. It is a powerful medium that unites people, offering a window into diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah while handing over the copy of the MOU.

The New Delhi Film Foundation is a non-profit film society registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with its operations extending across India. Its primary objective is to watch cinema, talk cinema, learn cinema, and make cinema together. The foundation strives to create sensitivity and understanding in society for sensible and sincere cinema. Many of its founding members are seasoned professionals in journalism and filmmaking. This collaboration is poised to bring a new era of creative synergy and cultural exchange, further enriching the Indian cinematic landscape.
